The concept of a monochromatic ensemble, for me, has always been one of great debate. I, certainly, only exercise this when it comes to wearing black on black; however, I wholeheartedly believe there is a chic and sophisticated manner to execute. Long and lean, Elena Perminova is a stunning display of the trend. The hint of metallic from the pocket and stark white wedges are an excellent pairing to the jolt of orange, with the tailored silhouette of the top and pant accenting her gamine figure. The cut and the hue are the keys to success when trying to triumph the beast that is monochrom. Always opt to flatter and choose a color/silhouette that highlights your assets.
